Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian, or if you’re hosting people who want to eat vegan food in Singapore, it can be hard to know where to go if it’s not your usual food of choice. We recently had family come to stay who are both vegan and so we tried out some of the best vegan restaurants in in Singapore. Here are our favourites:
1. Analogue, www.analogueinitiative.com

Whilst not a typical restaurant, this sustainability-focused bar is home to some of the best vegan food we’ve eaten in Singapore. A friend @theconsciouslizzy recommended it to us and she was not wrong. Awarded No.15 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023, Analogue features a small menu of some of the best plant-based bar snacks we’ve ever eaten. Our favourites included the ‘Nuggetz’, ‘Jackfruit Tacos’ and ‘Mantou’. Given that its sister-bar is Native, one of our favourite bars in Singapore, you can also expect incredibly-crafted cocktails at Analogue. The ‘eXpensive $h*t’ stood out as a favourite for my brother-in-law and even came with its own canapé on top! As someone who loves a margarita and Mexican flavours, the ‘Cactus’ was my favourite. Analogue pride themselves on exploring better alternatives and variations in relation to food and the ecosystem but they never compromise on flavour.
Service here was incredible and even without our vegan family members in tow, I’d go back to Analogue in a heartbeat. It’s also worth popping by just to see their beautiful interiors. Most of their furniture (including their very impressive bar) is made of recycled plastics.
Analogue, 30 Victoria St, #01-31 CHIJMES, Singapore, 187966
2. Vegan Bliss, www.facebook.com/veganbliss.sf
I spent most of my time in Vegan Bliss checking that the food was actually vegan! I couldn’t believe the food in front of me was from an entirely plant-based menu. There is nothing fancy about Vegan Bliss, but there doesn’t need to be as the food speaks for itself. If you’re looking for some of the tastiest vegan food in Singapore, you’ll find it at this vegan restaurant in Joo Chiat. We went to Vegan Bliss for lunch but they’re also open for dinner and pride themselves on giving reasonably-priced, great-quality vegan food. Our favourites included the hokkien mee, pineapple-fried rice and their vegan dim-sum menu! Vegan Bliss also do a lunch value set – $8.50 for one of their set meals and a drink, making it one of the best-priced vegan restaurants in Singapore too!

3. Kind Bowl, www.thekindbowl.com
This small eatery just behind 313@Somerset was another recommendation that we were given that I would happily return to time and time again! Their award-winning “Kind Pho” was one of the best I’ve had since we’ve lived in Singapore and their “no-chicken” Seitan could easily have fooled me! We also really enjoyed their spring rolls and their choice of drinks – the passionfruit iced tea was a favourite! The service was fast but good on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for delicious vegan food near Orchard.

4. Warung Ijo, warungijo.oddle.me
This allium-free Indonesian restaurant was a real surprise! Close to MacPherson MRT (an area I hadn’t visited before), the food at Warung Ijo is really delicious. The Gulai ‘Fish’ (pictured below) was my favourite of the meals we tried but the ‘Shroom spaghetti and Rendang were also excellent choices! Some of the meals here do have egg options so just make sure you let the staff know your dietary requirements. The service was brilliant and I’d certainly return next time I’m in the area!

5. Whole Earth, www.wholeearth.com.sg
We never made it to Whole Earth whilst our family was visiting but I wanted to include it because it has been recommended to me time and time again when I ask for recommendations for the best vegan restaurants in Singapore. Given that they’ve been named a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant for the 7th year in a row, it’s easy to see why people keep returning to Whole Earth. Their menu looks delicious and even non-vegans would easily be able to find something on their extensive menu.
Whole Earth, 76 Peck Seah St, Singapore 079331
Wherever you’re looking to eat, I have been really surprised by the amount of plant-based food available in Singapore. We found that even if we weren’t at one of the amazing vegan restaurants in Singapore, there were plenty of menu choices for vegans or veggies. Well-known chain restaurants like Privé have an extensive choice of vegan food too! And if you’re looking to eat more ‘authentically’, many of the hawker stalls also have great vegan and veggie choices!
